game keeps playing with no input (kb or mouse) after random intervals

I have an issue where after a random amount of time of playing BF1 on PC, the game will cease to receive input. The game continues to run, and play normally for a while. For example, if I was running forwards, my character continues running forwards forever, no matter what I do.

Can't click anything with mouse, or even alt-tab.

I can force quit the game with Task Manager.

I am unable to alt-tab back to the game once I have opened Task Manager.

I am never able to play the game for more than 40 minutes.

I have tried repairing the game files, deleting user folder in My Documents, updating graphics drivers (multiple times over months), and recently tried reinstalling entire game. No improvement.

    Hey @Domastyx,

    Thanks for the information you've provided.

    Are you using any Overlays, such as the Origin in-game Overlay, Discord, Nvidia GeForce, etc?

    Sometimes if you have these enabled, they can cause issues with the Game.

    Hey illuminate,

    The game worked fine for a few hours, but tonight the same fault happened, despite the Origin in-game Overlay being set to off. Seems it's not fixed after all!

    Hey @Domastyx, do you have a controller connected to the PC when playing? 

    Also what kb and mouse do you use?
