Getting place into server in Africa always via matchmaking

Platform : Xbox one

region :South east Asia

Game : battlefield 1

Hey guys,

Weird issue here, every time I use the matchmaking option to find games it puts me into an empty server in Africa. I can use server browser to get around this but the problem arises when I need to find an operations game.. Always getting placed into an empty server in Africa. You can see the server you get placed in after auto matchmaking via the pause menu. On console there is no way to filter into an operation game via server browser. Have all ports and NAT is open.

When I party up with my friend in UK and he initiates matchmaking we get into a game with no issues.

Anyone face a similar issue?

Quick Match has done that as far back as BF3. I recommend to use the server browser to manually find a populated server in your region.

Yeah , I use server browser for all other game modes but for Operations I have no other choice.
