Gold Battlepacks, missing knives, and too many 25% exp boosts...

I have the same problem.

DICE please unlock for us BOOT and IMPROVISED knifes. :mansad:

So, they made so many knives that you potentially can risk not getting all of them. Personally I don't see the big deal with this. Perhaps the maximum level will go higher with the next expansions and you can get them that way.

In either way, since it's not a problem that the community can fix you should probably post your suggestion on the Battlelog forums.

Wait till this next update, you will experince very good gold battlepacks.  The update is early setember.

I completely agree. EA/Dice did not think this Battlepack through at all. I had the same thing happen to me twice. I maxed my rank out before the release of the next expansion pack. Still not haveing all the available knife unlocks, and no Gold battlepacks left to get them. I stopped using the 25% XP long ago. I have over 150 of them.. collecting dust. 

Where the developers had their 'heads' on this I have no idea. I really hate to think it was just to be able sell gold battlepacks for cash like they are doing now. The knife is the only weapon where the only way you can get it is through a gold battlepack. Every other weapon unlock you can get just by using the weapon and getting the kills required. Personally battlepacks are just a kick in the loyalty groin everytime I get one. 

Seriously how many winter, urban, woodland etc cammo's do you need? Definitely not 8 of each. Do we really need 4 silencers for each gun? Basically EA, you ahd a brain fart on this one. No one really cares about portraits or emblems. You have just created a huge sore point for many of us. If I want to unlock knifes, I should use a knife to kill enemy with, just like every other weapon. 

I have over 2000 knife kills and still am missing 4 knives. I have a friend who doesn;t even have 200 kife kills, and he has all knife unlocks. It is ridiculous. I also have 2,500,000 more points that a friend with 250 more hours, and he is 5 ranks higher because he never reached the max ranking prior to the release of the next expansion 2 times in a row. Makes me feel like I have been penalized for playing more than others. 

But the real pet peeve is the knife unlocks..... I used to think I was just unlucky that the random draw of battlepacks had me getting the knives at the end of my final gold battlepacks. But that just isn't the case. You roll the dice and you may get all the unlocks. That or EA knows they pooched this, and a token gold battlepack will be given to those missing knife unlocks. In that case, I will open up the gold battlepack, it will have 4 knives in it, ..... and one 25% XP boost 🙂 .......
