Tried this - no errors was found. Thanks for the suggestion, though!
Ok, I guess it could be normal artifacting from overheating. What are your CPU/GPU/Motherboard temperatures when this is happening?
- Anonymous11 years ago
Not sure how to see that, however, every other game works without any problems. Even more demanding ones like Battlefield 4 and Mortal Kombat X.

Battlefield 4 uses a somewhat less demanding version of Frostbite, not a MORE demanding version. Compare the System Requirements for both. Mortal Combat uses a different engine, so no useful comparison is possible. Meanwhile, anyone playing high intensity games should have long since acquired the proper software to track thermal sensors.

I use Hardwaremonitor to check for temperatures:

I meant "more demanding games" as in a general statement that they are more demanding than most titles, I didn't mean to imply that they are more demanding than BFH. Why would everyone playing high intensity games acquire that software when every other game I ever played never causes issues like this?
Been a gamer my whole life, never experienced anything like this. - Anonymous11 years ago
Quick screenshot of temperatures:

Are those temperatures when the probllem is happening?
- Anonymous11 years ago
Yes, it happens instantly, not after a while of playing.

Ok, temperatures seem fine.
Next thing would be trying to reinstall DirectX and VC. You can find the installers for both in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\BFH\__Installer

Tried this just now, still the same problems. Tried to go into multiplayer and entire buildings were missing. I could see a hostage sit on the ground and terrorists on an invisible ledge above him in an invisible house :/

That is very weird.
The next thing I would do would be a clean reinstall of your graphics driver. Which means completely uninstalling all Nvidia software and drivers and installing it again from scratch. Personally I in safe mode use Display Driver uninstaller from http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html after having uninstalled it using the uninstaller but there's plenty of guides out there how people recommend doing it.

Downloaded the driver uninstaller and reinstalled the drivers. Still bugged, can't see a thing in-game :/

Lets just rule out any other programs causing interfering and try doing a clean boot before playing:

Alright, I will do it tomorrow probably, since I'm going out tonight.
Just thought I'd leave this here to give you a better picture of how it looks (the first one was a very dark picture):

Tried a clean boot, still problems. Going to reinstall my computer and remove everything on the harddrive. Could be time for a clean start, anyway.

Ok, please report back with how it goes afterwards 🙂

Well, I can happily announce that after removing everything on my computer and reinstalling it, installed the newest drivers again etc it finally WORKS! 🙂 Guess there was some weird thing in there somewhere.

A shame I couldn't find the thing but glad to hear it all worked out 🙂
