Greedy Chinese, Attack BF4 Asia server, EA also allow such illegal behavior?

@EA_Atic

I am the owner of a Battlefield 4 Asia server.

Greedy people from China in the past few years, in order to earn money, Launched an DDoS attack on Asia's BF4 server. (every day)

When the perpetrator's server is spurned by Asia players, Such DDoS attacks, from Oct last year until now.

Because of these guys can easily query each server through Battlelog IP address.

Discussion from the BF4DB forum:

https://bf4db.com/forum/thread/hacked-server-2448

Discussion from China:

https://tieba.baidu.com/p/6101106880

Because of the attack of these criminals, Servers in Japan and Singapore are also subject to DDoS attacks from China.

This is very unfair to server owners and players who are not from China.

So I want to ask you what you think about crimes from China?

Do you have a solution to hide the IP address source code? (Don't let we use the [View Source Code] to easily query the server's IP address.)

Can you answer?

  • Hello  @hatanokenji,

Sorry to hear about the issues you had with Battlefield 4. If your servers are having issues I recommend that you reach out to your RSP for assistance in mitigation with your servers.

For Asia repeated DDoS attacks per day, For fake players in the US and other regions count, Let us server owners feel very painful.

For us, the Battlefield 4 server is never free, When we come from AM:7:30 every day to turn on the power for 4 computers, join the server as a seed, I hope that the server can be seen and used.

But criminals from China, launching DDoS attacks every day, prevents us from playing the game, On average, my server will receive more than 6 DDoS attacks every day, Our money and time are wasted every day.

For i3D.NET, they can't do anything for us, because whatever changes to Battlelog always provides the most accurate information for China criminals, These criminals want to earn VIP money, From 3 years ago, these guys have been continually launching DDoS attacks.

Currently there are only 16 64-slots servers left in Asia.

I think it’s time to end this game.

It’s this guy who has been launching DDoS attacks against Asian servers for a long time.

All Asia server owners and server providers cannot solve legal problems from China, In the past 3 years, we have wasted more than 13,600 euros in all server costs per month.

Until now, there are only 14 64-slots servers left in Asia.

This is because of regional legal issues, The resulting unequal competitive environment in the global rankings, I think it should be necessary to end the life of this game directly.

In Asia only because this game is illegal in China, So everyone can't get legal assistance, so we have to waste money and waste time and physical strength, and the rules of Chinese criminals to decide when we can play games, I am very angry.

I am from 7 am today until now at 4 pm Taiwan time, I can't work properly with other servers, But my competitors in other regions can play games normally, This is not fair competition.

If you can't make any legal action in China, I can only say that please end the life of this game.

And accept DDoS attacks that BFV may come, Because this guy said that his DDoS attack tool is suitable for all Battlefield games.

This is the evil of China!

There are many sad and painful in Asia, only because there is a country in Asia that lists this game as illegal, This country is called China.

For this country, I and i3D.NET have confirmed that the source of Asia DDoS attacks is from China, Correctly, this Chinese criminal let everyone know who he is

But no one can take legal action against him, Only because he is from China, Other Chinese server owners and players cannot take legal action, Just because this game is illegal.

But very funny thing, There is a radical political fanatic group in China, These people created a Battlefield 4 platoons, These people are obviously fanatical Chinese Communist Party supporters.

For DDoS attacks in Asia for more than 3 years, These people will always only say that it is a DDoS attack launched by Taiwanese and Japanese, Koreans.

For me as a Taiwanese, These people continue to bully me every day, kill my dignity, even malicious reports

They report my chat account. There are also attempts to block my PayPal account, Just because they think I'm a scammer, This is not a factual reason.

These people tell Chinese players every day that I am the real criminal, and I must use my death to compensate everyone for my crimes.

For the financial loss of i3D.NET, this platoons always has ridicule and verbal bullying, Only more harm no right and wrong moral values.

I just want to ask if EA staff can accept that such platoons continue to exist in Asia?

PS. These people's affairs have been confirmed by i3D.NET, But i3D.NET has no final decision, This has to be decided by the EA!

I can confirm that when Marten2018 said this, the Asian server environment was immediately under a more comprehensive attack, Because only Chinese servers are allowed to play games in Asia, Japanese and Taiwanese servers cannot be allowed to play games, Therefore, DDoS has been attacking for more than 24 hours, Does anyone think this is reasonable behavior?

    Hi @Marten2018,

I've merged your thread in here with an existing thread on this. EA_Attic has responded to this earlier in this thread. In his post he's provided information on what you can do to get assistance with server issues. I'll share a quote of that post below:

Please follow the advise in EA_Attic's post above.

As there is nothing further we can add here, we'll close the thread.
