Gun Stats

So... according to the stats provided by the loadout screen 90% of guns in this game are almost identical. Clearly this isn't the case, so does anyone have any listings of the various guns with more detailed stats?

Also I presume range = velocity. So this will effect bullet drop, but does it effect damage at range? E.g. rifle with short range and higher damage may actually do less damage at 200-300 meters than a lower damage long range rifle.

Or is the primary difference between guns literally just how they look, and maybe a different spread pattern or available upgrades?

As a player coming from AVA I was expecting a little more detail to be available on the weapon mechanics :D
