How can I install BF1 with my friends files?

I don't have the ability to be able to download the due to internet cap (sigh). So i'm trying to install with my friends game files. So far I put the game files into D:\Program Files(x86)\Origi...

You will have to do same thing (-backup files -start download -pause download -paste files -restart origin -resume download)

But: You have to change "HKEY LOCAL MACHINE>EA GAMES>BATTLEFIELD1>INSTALLDIR " registry value to directory before resume download. Then restart origin and download will be done about 1 minutes. 🤔

Actually, that shouldn't be necessary anymore. Since a recent update to Origin, you should be able to move the files to the default installation folder, Origin should then scan the folder for any present files and check them, ultimately only downloading whats missing.
