How can I play Test Range offline? (X360)

I will spare you the details of why, but on some days my internet connection is dead. Im getting a new modem.

I would appreciate if I could play the Test Range while offline (that would make a lot of sense right?), but since I am playing on X360, the entire multiplayer section is restricted for those who do not have a DSL connection and Live Gold subscription.

I would suggest moving this restriction up to Quick Match and Browse Servers in a future update. Unless Test Range requires some kind of cloud processing (I highly doubt it).

Or is there currently a way around this problem? Can I set my network to local somehow? (i.e. system-link?).

Thank you.

Thanks for your feedback. You need to be in fact connected to the internet in order to play all multiplayer content, including the Testrange (even if it is without other players).

Just to expand on what Basti said, I believe the internet requirement is necessary for stat retrieval. In order to prevents cheating, I imagine that DICE decided it was necessary to store a players weapons/stats on a server.
