How do I get Legacy Operations?

How do I get Legacy Operations?

Origin app and online says I already have them (purchased), but whenever I try to join a server that requires it, a message pops up saying that I don't have them.

How can I trigger a re-download? Restarting Origin doesn't help. I'd rather not re-download BF4 either...

  • You go to the app store and select to download that specific BF4 map pack.  It is for free.

    Hi @CyberDyme,

Thanks for your reply, but as you can see from my original post, I have already done that.

  • @evanrm you need to repair your installation via origin client 🙂
let me know if you need further help
    cheers

  • Hi @OttoVP,

I did a repair game in Origin (Community Operations did not appear in the verification list), and it did not fix it. My order history in Origin shows that I have it, but it doesn't show as installed in the "Extra content" list for BF4 (where all the DLCs and weapons shortcuts etc are listed).

If it's been corrupted, can I delete it and re-download it?

Do I have to specifically install it as a manual step after it's been downloaded?

  • hi mate!

  • Hi @OttoVP

Yes, it appears in the Extra Content menu. Screen shots attached.

I still cannot play on a server that requires it though.

  • @evanrm on screenshot n°3 you have "download" if you click it what error message are you getting?

    btw try this:
Completely log out and close down Origin
Hold down the Windows key and R
Type in "%ProgramData%" (without quotes) and click OK
    Now open the Origin folder.
Delete all the files and folders in the Origin folder, except for LocalContent (do not delete this one)
Hold down the Windows key and R
Type in "%AppData%" (without quotes) and click OK
This will take you to a Roaming folder, which is located inside of AppData. Delete the Origin folder
Click on the word "AppData" at the top of your window
    Open the Local folder here
Delete the Origin folder listed here
Restart your PC and log back into Origin

    cheers
  • Hi @OttoVP ,

I did all the steps that you list, and it still is asking for it when I try to join a server.

On screenshot #3 there is no link to download. Clicking "Open in Origin" does nothing.

Thanks for the help. I think I'll just give up.
