How do I make rain in the game seem more "prevalent"?

Nothing much you can do during normal play unfortunately, generally the rain on most maps (St. Quentin or Empire's Edge) for example feature fairly tame rain, though some of the Battlefield 1 concept art showed heavy thunderstorm trench combat so hopefully with maybe either Turning Tides or Apocalypse (or free bonus maps) we might see full-fledged rain rather than slight drizzles.
