how do we tell how close we are to a sydicate assignment completion

1. You have to reach 275,000 class related score to get the 1st gold service star. You can check the progress in the following link:

Look for the bottom left column.

2. The pre-requirements are listed on Awards/Assignments/Class Assignments. In every class the "Unlocked Assignment" is bugged, showing wrong Number/Quantity of items what are must to purchase.

In your case I guess you wanna do the Professional Syndicate. Because of the bug, you have to purchase the following items:

Gadgets:
- Decoy
- Stealth Training

The problem is in your case, you suppose to buy 3 things, but only the 2 gadget is basic item. Probably in the past you used Battlelog to buy something and this purchase is not registered in the "Awards" database. Means, even if you buy the 2 gadgets in-game, still no warranty the pre requirements will show "Done"

Summary: please buy the 2 gadget listed above. Check the "Professional Unlocked Assignment"
