You contact an EA Advisor by going to https://help.ea.com/contact-us
You will have to write some keywords about your problem, then fill out product, category and platform, press “Find Solutions” and then “I Still Need Help”. Then your contact options will appear. If live chat/phone does not appear, it might be closed in your area at the moment and you might consider changing it to: “United States” or something else in the language selector in the bottom of the page for a better result.
As I said I'd rather not use live chat, I'd prefer a direct email if possible. (All I get with the live chat option is a never-ending buffer symbol anyways, but I'd rather be able to actually re read and spellcheck things before I send them, which with me will take anywhere between 10 minutes to an hour).
It took me about half an hour of searching to find the "I still need help" button. It actually required me to scroll down past the text an additional 2/3 pages to find it.

For a refund, open your order history on your Origin
account and use the "Request a refund" function.

Did you buy the game from Origin?
If you did and are having problemswith the refund option, I suggest
contacting a game advisor.
To contact a game advisor, go to
https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/ask
* Fill in "account" in the search bar
* hit find solutions
* Then select product in the first selecting bar, account management in the second and select your platform in the last bar.
* Hit find solutions.
Now you will be given multiple solutions to your problem. To contact support you need to click "I still need help".
Here you can choose a contact option.
