How to edit a battlefield 1 rental server after purchase.

With new game features that are released, there can be a bit of confusion on how to make changes. Below are some steps that will allow you to make all changes available to the rental servers you have for your PC.

1. First, launch the Origin client, log in with your EA account and launch Battlefield 1.
2. At the main menu, click on the Multiplayer tap at the top of the screen. It should be the second option.
3. Next click on "Server Browser" and go to the My Server tab at the top of the screen.
4. Move your mouse over near the play button to the very right. Three dots (♦♦♦) will appear for a drop down.
5. Click the three dots and a drop down menu will pop up with different options for your server.
6. Click configure on the bottom of the list. This will take you to the edit section of your rental server.

I did some testing on this for a few things and I ran into one issue after a day of my rental. I noticed that if your server runs out and you add more time to it, it doesn't always let you edit the changes again. I contacted EA support and they were able to fix that from their end.

However, the fix did reset a few things like server name, server message and a couple low end options. The ones that were reset ha no real effects to my actual server though. You will have a chance to rename it, give it a new message etc. I had bug reported this so they can look at the issue and see if it was just my server or a real issue.
