Huge problem making my game unplayable (PS3)

the op is almost an exact mirror of what I got going on with my ps3 and bf4. I have tried reformatting, and even putting in a new hd, thinking the hd was going bad... nothing.
I fixed mine, took the disc back to gamestop and got another one, also bought a lens cleaner dvd. came home ran the lens cleaner, deleted all my bf4 data and reinstalled off the new disk, and I played for 10 hours not one crash/freeze.
before that I couldn't play anywhere from 30 seconds to five minutes of a round without crashing.
