Bought Battlefield Bad Company 2 for PC on my Steam account, everything is working good, but if I try to search for multiplayer Servers a cant find any. If I rty a quick join i only join empty Servers and noone ever joins. Can someone help?
Hey, comrade. I'm not sure how it works for the steam version, but I got the multiplayer to work for my retail version like this. Hope it helps.
First, you want to update your BC2 version to the latest version. You can do that by manually updating it through the game itself or by doing it by my preferred method, download the patch itself HERE!
Download and apply the patch to your game
Next go HERE and download the Project Rome Server. Unzip the file to your battlefield BC folder (or whatever the instructions tell you).
Lastly, create a free account HERE. Now go into the game and load up multiplayer! Just create a solider and everything should be cake.
