It depends on what server you are playing on. Sometimes, I made the same mistake of selecting on the server that I want to play, which is un rank server.
Look through your reports to see if you were playing on RANKED / UNRANK SERVERS. This may be the reason why you are not getting any points / score / service stars.

Not a good reply from EA there.
Many many people are having the same problems. I have not been getting Service Star XP for 8 weeks now. its a joke.
Some EA reps say its a known issue and DICE are working on a fix (but its not in their issue tracker list.) others do not have a clue or don't give a damn.
Seems a fairly simple issue to fix but nothing seems to be done.
Unfortunately, This is players helping players forum and we can only tell you what we think happened or see what we can do to help another player.
If you have issues that other players can not resolve, you must contact EA Game Advisors at http://help.ea.com/en/battlefield/battlefield-4/ via chat or have them call you back.
I spent about 30 min with a Game Advisor (From India) other day and by the time my conversation ended, all I got was "I am screwed", so I can feel your frustration. The funny thing was that the EA Game Advisor asked me to post here for help LOL since "I do not have the resources to help at this time, and may be in near future".
Good Luck, bud. There is a long road ahead of us with the EA Help center. May be, EA would hire people who play the game that they are supporting.
I've noticed that there are many many threads about not getting service stars. Personally, I am not having any problem receiving the service stars or points.
