Solved

I don't own Battlefield 1

Once again a Problem, I have owned the Battlefield 1 Base Game and I upgraded to the Revolution edition and All DLC's are looking normal no problem, But when I play Battlefield 4 and I want to launch Battlefield 1 directly from the Battlefield 4 Screen, It says "Failed to Launch, Please Make sure Battlefield 1 is Installed", and I've owned the Revolution edition of Battlefield 1 but the Battlefield 1 cover in "Recent Games" Page is still like the Standard Edition.

I already tried deleting the Origin cache and nothing happens.

I logged in to the account that I already own Battlefield 1 and Ea Play. Please Help

Thanks.

@JemberPhysicist, alright, this indeed sounds a bit odd. It might be the case that the UI of Battlefield 4 needs to update in order to launch the Rev. Edition of BF1 straight from BF4.

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps yourself already? If not, I recommend doing the following:
    - Repair BF4 and BF1 in Origin (Right-click on the game tiles and click Repair)
    - Clear Origin cache: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
    - Reboot PC
    - Log back into Origin
    - First check if you are still able to boot BF1 Rev. Edition as normal
    - Then check if you see a difference in the BF4 menu

It is possible that this will not work of course, then we might try other steps. However, the most important part of course is that the games themselves launch and work normally.

@JemberPhysicist, alright so you're now able to launch BF1 directly via the in-game menu of BF4?
It is possible that, because of the age of both games, the BF4 UI simply won't update to the in-game BF1 Rev. Edition tile. As long as it works (launching the games) and you have the in-game perks in BF1 that come with the Rev. Edition, everything is alright, right? 🙂
  • @EA_Leeuwyes Everything that comes with the Revolution edition is Fine, all DLC's are Fine, But When I recently Upgrade to the Revolution edition, the "Recent Games" tiles of Battlefield 1 is looking like this, and the Achievement Page, Battlefield 1 still has no cover

    @JemberPhysicist @EA_Leeuw

So if it's now working to launch BF1 from BF4 menu via shortcut and all the Content that's included in the Revolution Edition is available for you then it should be fine.

If all is working as it's supposed to be, that's good. 🙌 Even tho it might shows you the picture of the regular BF1 edition.

As i recall it the Revolution Edition is some sort of edition that contains the Base Game + Premium + all other additional content that's been available over time. (so basically everything)

Maybe there is simply an issue with displaying it as you owned the base game already and you just did an upgrade instead of buying it completely new as Revolution Edition. 🤨

@JemberPhysicist, ah alright. That indeed looks a bit odd.
I know that we are currently tracking a potential issue with Origin sometimes not displaying the background videos correctly for some Battlefield games game tiles in Origin, this could potentially be related.

But I am at least very happy to hear that everything is now working as intended. 🙂

  • @EA_LeeuwYeah thanks for the first problem it has been solved, but now I just don't like it because I want everything perfect, Its very disturbing for me ☹️

At least the gaming experience isn't affected in any bad way. That's good. 🙂

But i see your point, it' just doesn't look right there. 😳
