In game voice chat for bf4 on Xbox Series X?

I've had my Xbox Series X (xsx) for a while and cannot get the in-game chat to work for multiplayer battlefield games. It works perfect in party chat but i can't talk to anyone in a random squad on b...

    @Barremel

    Make sure that VOIP in the BF4 ingame settings is "ON".

    Should be under Options > Audio. 

    As you're there, maybe also check the rest of the ingame Audio settings if they're correct or need to be changed.

I also experience this on and off in the same play session.

The mic icon next to my name will disappear when the voice chat service is down.

However if I go into a party like a previous user stated my mic works just fine.

Clearly there is a EA/Dice VOIP issue
