Possibly wrong, but I don't think the reliability report will help as it doesn't record the red screen error, only crash to desktop "Battlefield 4 has stopped working" error, which I also get occasionally. The "BAD_POOL_CALLER (c2)" error posted by lumpenpack is more accurate.
AMD R9 280x
i5 3570K
16GB RAM
Originally tried with 13.11: RSOD
Uninstalled completley
Install 13.9 drivers: RSOD
I doubt any other driver changes will help me so I'll hold out for a fix.
A10 6800k (cpu only, igpu disabled)
Sapphire R9 280x Toxic Edition at stock settings
8gb G.Skill 2133mhz DDR3
Windows 8 64 bit
Tried clean installs of 13.9, 13.11BV6 as well as 13.11BV7 (the most recent release)...have the problem with all of them.
If i play the x64 .exe, i get a red screen regularly in both the campaign, and even faster in multiplayer. However, this all started today (nothing was changed), last night at midnight release i played nearly 3 hours of the campaign without a single issue.
Some member said to run the x86 .exe in windowed mode. This has not given me a red screen, but instead a blue one, with a 'clock_watchdog_timeout' error. Windows forums state that is usually a specific cpu failure, but can 'rarely' be a driver related problem also. I have never had one of these two errors in any other game or application, and only started getting them over the past hour or so.
none of my red screens seem to be recorded, either...just a 'unexpected windows shutdown' from the reboot, and no mention of the application that caused. The couple of blue screens i've received all show bf4.exe as the cause.
Hopefully this is what you're asking for. Windows 8's history report layout is different than the directions you provided.
