Just want to warn people who might try to use the amd uninstall utility on windows 8/8.1:

DO NOT use the AMD Uninstall Utility on Windows 8 or 8.1, it does not support these windows versions yet, and while all the problems it can cause are not yet known, a quick Google search can show you what type of problems people have seen so far.

So is it confirmaed that these new drivers fix the problem? I am unable to test them at the mment.

To answer a few questions about beta v8 drivers here:

Fixed the RSOD and some crash issues for me. Been playing smoothly
even got a small FPS increase (~5 fps). Some people are seeing 20 fps increase
