I have the same problem. I bought Battlefied 4 today and I heard sound but sometimes I don´t hear any sound only music playing background. Sometimes I hear and sometimes no sounds but mostly no sounds.
Windows 7 64 bit.
Intel Core i74771 3.5GHz
Nvidia Gtx 760 OC
8 GB RAM
motherboard MSI B85-G43 Gaming, sound: Realtek HD

Possible Xbox One temp fix:
I think I may have found a temporary fix to this problem. If you play a few rounds (I played like 3, but could require as few as 1 round) of Conquest mode and then go to Team Deathmatch the sounds will return.
Note: It seems that if you go to the Test Range it will remove the sounds when you try to go back into Team Deathmatch. I found this before going to sleep last night and have not been able to further test this. I hope this gets fixed quickly.
