Same issue on two different systems at our office. (Almost) no sound, only load screen music. Can hear radio (spotting etc) VERY faintly, sometimes all sounds pop in for a second or two. Most commonly when you die, it seems.

Intel i5, onboard sound, geforce gtx 460, win 8.1. Other system similar, Intel with nvidia and win 8.1.
