Great, guys keep up with the feedback and make it as detailed as possible. DICE is working on this and fixing it, there should be a patch soon. Do not worry the problems are being worked on and DICE is fixing it. Your feedback has helped to speed up the process.
Note to all: This thread is created for you to give feedback on the problem, so the fixing can be faster. This thread was not created for rant, I advice you not to rant and instead to give your detailed feedback on this problem. Rant wont help no one and it surtantly WONT help you.
If this helps, please click the white XP button and to give me some XP.
If this solves your question, click the green solution button and mark it as solution so it can help others with the same problem.- 11 years ago
Vangaurd (Message 211),
I agree with you in the regard of ranting being unproductive for both sides. It also creates a negative environment for everyone.
However- players will have less and less patience with each patch that has zero day patch issues.
As a player and someone whom works in the technical support field I think what would reduce some of the frustrations would be more information.
Yes, EA is aware of the issue but what else can they tell us? Giving good technical support is not just about being able to solve the issue. If players were to given more answers and at frequent updates I think players would be more forgiving. An update with no new information is better than no update at all.
EA / DICE PLEASE TELL US!
-What is EA's brief summary of the reported issue? (This is so similar issues are not misreported in the same thread and so players understand that EA understands the problem)
-What feedback does EA need from the players? (Does EA need more information from the players?)
-What configurations does EA believe is affected by the reported problem? (This is so players with other configurations can reported the issue so EA can widen the scope of affected systems)
-What does EA believe is causing this issue? (This is so EA can demonstrate to players that it has a technical understanding of the underlying issue)
-What is the severity level? (How many players are affected and how high of a priority is this for EA?)
-What fixes will need to be required to fix this issue? (Is this a server patch, player patch or infrastructure fix?)
-What controls will be in place to prevent a similar event from occurring? (Show the players EA is learning from their mistakes and not just going to repeat them. Everyone makes mistakes, intelligent people learn from them)
-When is this expected to be resolved or another official update/response to be given? (Updates with no progress on an issue are better than no update at all)
Player Appreciation month will NOT make players forgive EA for past poor gaming experiences. I know EA works hard to enrich the player experience but sometimes we all need to be reminded. EA should take every bug and use it as an opportunity to demonstrate to the players how hard it works to give us the best experience possible.
