Ok I found something idk if it helps or not but i right clicked bf1942.exe and went to trouble shoot compatiblity and I clicked use recomended settings (xp service pack 3) and I got a box saying "Missing Required File "ssleay32.dll" does that mean anything?
Also edit when i got throught with troubleshooting it said "Incompatible File".
What did they do, put a game up on Origin that doesn't work so we would be inclined to post our computer specs so they can see what we have?

I found this 2, all files are in game directory, i copied them to system32 cause that what games for xp expected them to be, and nothing. back where we started.
