Same problem as everyone else has. When I click play, nothing happens - sometimes, maybe depending on the compatibility settings(?), the Origin screen flashes with white flashes a couple of times.
- Operation system? Windows 7 x64
- General PC specs? Asus X66IC laptop - Intel C2D, nVidia GT220M
- If you are using more than 1 Origin account on the same PC? No
- If it was the first time you are playing BF1942 or if the issue happened after a new installation of Origin or BF1942 - New install
- Workarounds you already tried - Pretty much everything - compatibility settings, admin rights, updated all drivers, disabled firewall/antivirus, repaired install, tried to launch straight from .exe file, origin beta mode, tried to change configuration files by guides on I found on random sites, etc etc
Windows event viewer has this log on launch (not always, maybe on different compatibility settings or something, this message didn't always come up):

Thanks that probably will help a bit, those files at the end, if we delete/rename, it might create new ones and might run.
