Infuriating problem , game starts to battle log instead of game menu....

I have an infuriating problem.
I recently after a very long break reinstalled BF4.

For two weeks i started the game, game opened in game's main menu. There i was able to go to campaign, multiplayer, do stuff.

For some infuriating reason today it opened... in a god damn browser to battle log???

I now recall that that stupid browser battle log is THE reason i uninstalled it in the first place.

I dont' know what happened to the game, it just opened to a browser instead of a game.

HOW DO I STOP IT??? I CAN'T STAND STARTING THE GAME FROM BATTLE LOG

The solution which seems to be the top reported one right now is:

Update: Solution slightly updated - restart Origin between the two game property changes! This reportedly have an even higher success chance.

The currently most reported successful workaround is as follows:

Open Origin client and right-click Battlefield 4 and choose Game Properties. Go to Advanced Launch Options and choose Battlefield 4 (x86) and Save. Now fully close Origin and start it again. Then repeat the same process and change it back to Battlefield 4 (x64).

For some reason Battlefield 4 isn't launching through Origin anymore but instead it's taking me to the Battlelog site. I wasn't having this issues a few weeks ago. I try disabling the "Launch Plug-In web service" through Battlelog but each time I saved it, it would re enable it again. Any suggestion?

Right now it should be fine. Origin should launch the game instead of battlelog.

I am also experiencing the same issue, such that I cannot boot up the game whatsoever and the origin menu keeps popping up for no reason. I have tried to reinstall the game from steam and then origin from the game, and it still has the same issue. Please help xoxo 😉

I love how even by now the admins can't be bothered to answer a simple. vitally important question. Having this issue myself, about to uninstall once I Leave a scathing review on each individual site that sells this game in the hopes that I can share some of this frustration with the devs personally. This issue is so dumb by nature there's just no excuse to leave a forum this old hanging about it. Back me up if they never helped you either, review bomb EA as a whoel for this failure to think. Not think ahead, not think of the customers, no, this is simply a failure to think whatsoever.

Hi. Im having the same issue as well. I can't open the game using origin but its redirecting me to battlelog. Can you help me with my problem?

I have encountered the same problem.
Bought the EA Play on Steam(great decision to make it available there) and was able to play for around 14 hours in the past days without any issues.
Now today it won't launch through the in-game server browser but will bring me to the battlelog site instead.
Such a shame.

It didnt do this yester day, some admin please answer why, cus its BS to find servers on battlelog.

I am having a same issue where i have ea play from steam and now i have to use battlelog to connect to the servers why did this happen it was fine without battlelog

ThemRaisins: Easiest way to fix this issue is launch from origin while origin in offline mode, when game launched switch back to online! That wroks for now until issue fixed!!
