Installation error
The installation gets to 20% and then stops. It gives the error message "Error: a redistributable package (DirectX) was not installed successfully. Setup cannot continue. (false) "
This keeps happening whether I reboot update directx.
I played on the beta
Could anyone help
My Rig:
Amd 8320 3.5ghz
Amd sapphire 7850 hd
8gb 2133mhz ram
I know how to fix this
First you find any other game you own preferably a steam one
Then you need to go into the game files and use some common sense to get to the installer
steam games are in the Programfiles(x86) then steam apps , then common and then find the installer
in said installer find the files that are called DXSETUP.exe DSETUP.dll and dsetup32.dll and copy them
then go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4\__Installer\directx\redist
and paste them in there replace the files already in there but I prefer to put them in another folder
