Hi, you dont give any details of your PC but maybe some of the following might help:
-Reinstalling/Updating graphics driver. Choose 'clean install' in advanced install options.
-Download and install latest PhysX drivers:
http://answers.ea.com/t5/Battlefield-4/BF4-game-broke/m-p/2268667#U2268667
Suggestion below taken from eabastien:
"Please download the latest physx driver. Go to your custom settings of your video-card software. Nvidia Control Panel > Configure Surround > PhysX > PhysX settings > select your graphics card. Disable all extra options for enhanced graphics and set the preferences for AA and anisotropic to “use application settings”.
-Reinstall Punkbuster.
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4 and select pbsv.exe . Choose 'reinstall'

-Then try unparking your cores: http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/forum/threadview/2955065218806027068/
-Try forwarding your ports:
For Battlefield on PC, please enable the following online ports on your connection:

For specific instructions on how to open your ports, please visit http://www.portforward.com/ or contact your router manufacturer.
Also see this EA Help article for information on opening TCP or UDP ports: http://help.ea.com/en/article/opening-tcp-or-udp-ports-for-connection-issues/
-Try this:

I plan on port forwarding now that I know the ports, but I don't see why I should have to mess with my modem or anything as it was literally one day, working fine, the next day it didn't work. I haven't done any updates or changes to my computer, modem/router firmware, etc.
I appreciate the suggestions though.
AMD FX 6300 six core (3.50GHz)
8GB Ram
GTX 570
Run at mostly high settings, have updated my drivers (fresh, used generic to re-install latest driver from vendor website) and I had no lag problems until a few days ago.
NOTE: I'm not talking about fps lag, I stay at 60 fps bare minimum, it's network lag that I'm getting. Again, my internet is fine. I was playing on a server in 7 days to die and I ran at a steady 50ms ping, my internet is not messing up.
This is BF4/DICE side.

"This is BF4/DICE side."
This, this and thrice this!
I have latest drivers, uparked cores and have stress tested everything using FurMark and Prime.
All my other games run just fine.
Since the last update BF4 is a stuttering unplayable mess. Ran perfectly on my rig beforehand and I haven't changed anything.
I was on the last part of the campaign (just about to jump in the dinghy) and now I can't finish it!
I'm on ASUS 780 DirectCU2 OC
Maximum V Gene
i5 3570K
8G XMS Corsair RAM
GS800 psu
Win 7 64bit Ultimate.
Before you ask I'm an IT pro who's been gaming since VIC20 days so don't patronise me. Tell me what your doing about it instead or it'll be the last EA game I'll ever buy (and you're already pushing it by snubbing Steam).
