IP banned from an official server

Are you an EA employee?

If not, please tell me your credentials so I can understand if you are knowledgeable enough to resolve my problem.

BTW EA, abhorrent customer service is yet another reason why I am done purchasing from you. There are plenty of other publishers that are competing for my money.... feel like I'm talking econ 101 to a monkey.

FYI, I cannot ever connect to that server. I can connect to every other server perfectly and have never run into that issue otherwise.

EA fix this problem.

My NEW IP has banned my new IP from their official server after i made a racial slur. This was to test whether an official server can ban an IP, and it can. They are using their firewall/ddos prevention to ban IP's outside EA's TOS.

EA is not upholding its word when they say official servers cannot ban players.

I have gone to the clan that hosts the official server, ea help forums, and here.

No one has held clans that hold official servers accountable for their IP bans.

Well don't make racial slurs on servers and you won't get banned. As far as i know you cannot be banned from Official servers so it may be an account ban.

No it isn't. It's an IP ban. If I use a VPN I can join. I just got a new moden and decided to see if I could get IP banned again. I was able to play on the server, and as soon as I tested it, I could not rejoin the server ever again. Clearly they are using firewall/ddos prevention to block my ip. I should be able to say what I want on an official server -- they should not have the power to ban players.

No one is an admin to official servers, so there would be no reason to block your ip or ddos or anything similar.

I'm beyond the point of doubt. This has happened on two different modems. This has nothing to do with my end. I am able to play on the server until I upset the admin and then I cannot connect to the server ever again -- these guys are blocking my IP one way or another.

If I got another modem (which means a new IP), I could play on the server again. Guarenteed

you cannot be kicked or moved around an official server, but you most certainly can be banned.

if you break the TOS for the game, you can be banned from an official server.

before you say you haven't, you have.

totalfps made a post about server and the different types, it took 5 seconds to google.

“Official Servers” only allow access to a few server settings which are very restricted. Server admins cannot kick or switch players around. Missions can only be tracked here. Awards, scores and unlocks will also be recorded. Players land on these types of servers when using Quick Match.

but they most certainly can BAN.
