IPV6 causing massive lag

Hi everyone,

there is a very old and long thread in the german section of this forum. It was started by the german community manager, asking for information about lag and IPV6.

The thread is two month old and 42 pages long (remember - only german users). But the community manger hasn't given as any update or is reacting on twitter/facebook on this matter, while a lot of players give constructive feedback.

I just want to try to get some attention for this kind of problem. I know its not the only problem regarding lags/rubberbanding, but all the users on this thread report the same problem - they have internet provider ("Unitymedia") with IPV6, which can't change it to IPv4.

It seems that people who got a IPV6 internet connection suffer under extreme lags - in my own experience I can say one second lags every 5-7 seconds. The problem here is, that having IPV6 is ONLY affecting Bf4 and causes packet loss. ALL users report no packetloss with other applications/games - only Bf4.

I hope this gets some attention and will get fixed soon, as it affects a lot of players (in germany Unitymedia is one of the biggest providers - I don't know how many players from other countries got IPV6 too)

Btw: I hoped the patch on the 18.02 would fix this - it didn't
