The subtle cheaters are actually a much worse problem that the rage cheaters. The latter can be deleted via statistical analysis. The ones who try to hide they are cheating are the terminal decease to the online-gaming industry. And the latter is not really trying to do anything about it. Which i find strange, since it is the biggest threat to their business.

it is almost impossible to find Bf2042 Close quarters lobby without a cheater in europe now.
What is EA doing? Laying on ground of top there own stinky poo?

The only thing you can do is NOT purchase BF6 or any EA/DICE product. Imagine if enough people did that ?. Then when they see there profit margin tanking they may ask, "how did that happen".
They would scratch there collective heads for a while but I think they would get the message.

Yes, it'll be rampant with hacks, and the awful scum company won't let players manage their own servers to keep hackers out, thus ruining the franchise entirely - don't even bother buying it.

" a tiny fraction of the player base,". you got to be joking? Do some research and see how extremely popular cheat sellers are. And how disgusting advanced these cheats are, making it very very hard to proof. BTF V servers are filled with half gods. Except the 3 or 4 days after the major anti-cheat update last year. The gameplay changed massively, no longer 60+ player in one match who all can shoot 35+% accuracy at moving targets across the map. After 4 days the **bleep** figured out it was not effective and came back rather quickly.

I am assuming history will repeat itself, since it has already repeatedly repeated itself on this topic. Meanwhile hoping for a miracle, but i will for sure first watch several months and see what happens before considering buying btf6.

Every game has cheaters, but the "hacking" issue in Battlefield V is mostly overblown by the community.
Well, a number of factors come into play.
-The greater age of the game encourages more hacking.
-Sales of the game make the cost of being caught minimal. This could be seen with the recent $2 price of BF5, as an example.
-Some global regions have a lesser stigma attached when it comes to hacking. Unfortunately, I am in one such region. Consider yourself lucky you aren't.
I've played almost every Battlefield title, and Battlefield V is the only one where you can join a lobby and immediately see players accusing others of hacking just because they went 25:0.
There is so much angst about hackers because there are always hackers in the game. Have you ever visited a hacker website? You should. It is very enlightening.
Of course there are hackers, but they make up only a tiny fraction of the player base, contrary to what many players claim.
That is simply your opinion, and as I mentioned above, hacking frequency is dependent on a number of factors.
Also, consider that blatant aimbot usage is rare, and the people hiring out the hacks explicitly state that overuse equates to detection. (If you like, I can find and post the quote, but without the link) They actively advocate against using it.
As I said in a previous post, the most popular hacks are those that have plausible deniability. Wall hacks are difficult to detect if used intelligently. I read many years ago that something called ESP was the go-to back then.
I believe the new game, just like previous releases, will not have a real hacking problem.
As you said, it is your belief. Many of us have different beliefs as a result of personal experiences.
Regardless, I will be buying BF6 and will enjoy the honeymoon period while the hackers are intimidated by the large cost of replacing their banned account. 😎

So called "pro" players have even been caught cheating while actually playing in a tournament. You can find them on Youtube, they are funny to watch.
Think about it. Even the best players are disadvantaged by wall hack, let alone aimbot.
My assumption is that overwhelmingly, these so-called good players use hacks in one form or another, the most popular being ESP I have read years ago.
And when you have a large infestation of hackers, these very good natural players don't really have a chance either.
Just for the fun of it I googled "BF5 cheats" and was stunned to find several pages of cheat programs for sale BEFORE the actual release of the game.
I discovered the same thing with CoD many years ago, which led me to give up multiplayer on the PC and gravitate to a console instead.
Unfortunately, being a disabled player who can't handle a console controller, Sony refused to allow M&K on the PS5.
As a consequence, I was forced to give up playing BF altogether until I tried again when the $2 sale came along. I did enjoy playing on the PC for a month, avoiding the usual suspects, but as I have said, lately the pest infestation has risen to such a level that there was no fun to be found anywhere any longer, so I hung up my holster again.
My best guess is that many people are driven into hiring hacks of their own just to be able to have some chance. It seems to be a case of "If you can't beat them, join them", unfortunately.
So what do I think ???....................I think we both know the answer to your question.
I believe we do. 😎

However, I have read in many places online that cheating is rampant in gaming. Simply google "online gaming cheating problem", or words to that effect, and you will get page after page of information.
Believe me, it is bad to the point of being unplayable for non-hacking ppl.
My whole game-play was centred around avoiding ppl using wall hack. It was fun annoying them up to a point, but it seems the majority of the hackers are teaming up on one side now on a regular basis, which destroys any enjoyment possible, hence my decision not to play any longer.

I can not really comment. I have not purchased an EA/DICE product since BF4 because of my disgust with the product, However, I have read in many places online that cheating is rampant in gaming. So called "pro" players have even been caught cheating while actually playing in a tournament. You can find them on Youtube, they are funny to watch.
I actually played BF5 (for free) when it came out in beta testing. Just for the fun of it I googled "BF5 cheats" and was stunned to find several pages of cheat programs for sale BEFORE the actual release of the game.
