Due to a menu-issue some Battlefield 4 players are unable to find their rented-servers in their My Servers lists.
If you can't find your rented Battlefield 4 server in your My Servers list:
- Launch Battlefield 4 and open your My Servers list
- Affected players do will not see their rented servers when viewing their My Servers list.
- Go to Server Browser and search for your server by name.
- Your rented server should show up in your search results.
- Find your server and select Server Details.
- Exit out and return to your My Servers list and you should now be able to both view and use admin privileges on your server.
- If you have multiple servers, just repeat these steps for each.
If you restart your game or console your servers will disappear from your My Servers list, so you'll have to go through this process each time you fully leave your game.
- Simply search for your servers before managing them through the My Servers menu.
Some other rental server issues you may be having:
- Why can’t I kick other players or change my map rotation?
- You're unable to kick players or change your map rotation if your server is set to Official.
- Change your server's settings to something else--like Ranked--to change maps and kick players.
- Official servers restrict access to only a few settings because Missions, Awards, Scoresand Unlocks are tracked on Official servers.
- Players using Quick Match to play connect to Official servers..
- Ranked servers let you mix game modes and play with settings.
- Ranked server admins can do things like kick or switch players from their teams and change ticket totals.
- Ranked servers also track Awards, Scores and Unlocks.
- Players cannot Quick Match into Ranked servers and instead have to find them in the server browser.
- Unranked servers allow a wide variety of admin settings to play with but do not track Awards, Scores and Unlocks for player career progression.
- Unranked servers are also only found by searching in the server browser.
- Private servers follow the same rules as Unranked servers but allow passwords to keep out unwanted players and are also only found in the server browser.
- You're unable to kick players or change your map rotation if your server is set to Official.
