Issue with with BF4 settings not saving
Every time I launch the game, the settings revert back to what they previously were. If I even so much as alt-tab out of the game, it reverts back to these settings.

Have you tried to repair your Battlefield 4 install via Origin? Open your Origin client, go to your "My Games" tab and rightclick on BF4. In the drop-down menu, choose "Repair Install". Make sure that your BF4 folder is set to /writable and that you run Origin as administrator.
If that doesn't help, you can try to use the Cloud storage function from Origin or reinstall the origin client and install the latest version.
