Hey, 

I have the same problem. my video card is an Asus HD7970 Ghz. Around me, my friends have not any problem with Nvidia.
With the latest driver Amd 14.1 beta, the Metro map is bugged. (mantle/directx)
With the latest official driver amd 13.12, it's the same. (mantle/directx)

Win 8.1 64 bit, i5 2500k, 8 go.
