L85a2

Right, I know battlefield 4 is hardly played these days, but I’ve come back to it as battlefield 1 is not my thing anymore. Ans I wanted to use my favourite gun, the L85A2, but it won’t let me. It says I have the medal/achievement and I’ve done all the things to get it. It even says I’ve got kills with it (as I have used it before) I have just redownloaded the game and I don’t have China Rising DLC, is that why? I’ve already got the gun but won’t let me use it

    Yes, you nailed it. In order to unlock expansion pack weapons you must own the expansion (this is applicable to all platforms) and have the expansion installed on your machine (on console the weapons are physically in the expansion pack). You can however still get stats for the weapon by picking up a kit off of a dead soldier that is using the weapon or using it in gunmaster.

    If you own the BF4 Limited Edition and are on console make sure that you redownload the China Rising Limited Edition Entitlement from your downloads in the PSN or XBL store, then you will have access to China Rising and that weapon.

    Also BF4 is still very populated on all platforms.
