Same problem and i have been trying to get help with it for over 2 months. I only run 1 290 with a 8350. But i all so get mantle BSOD problems and so on. I spend more time trying to fix this than actually playing and im starting to think we should be charging EA for our frigen time. Fix your **bleep** cause the stuff up is REAL. Very annoyed and if this isnt fixed i want a refund at the very least. I went out and got all new hardware and my old Ddr2 stuff seems to run better than any of this mantle crapola. Very pissed off.

Your problem might be from bad optimisation for your CPU, EA and DICE needs to optimise better for AMD CPU's.
With one 290x and 4770k mantle is fine but crossfire is broken and can't use it. Before the patch it was about double the performance of one card and ran perfectly, you mess with perfection you break it.

I have same problem with every map i tried and with the new Dragons maps also. For me the game start very well, i have 2 x R9 290x so at all ultra and the last 3 video seting at OFF i am in the range of 160 to 200 FPS. After 5-10 min i am down to 100-120fps then it get to under 80 fps by the end of the game. PPL will say 80 fps is good, yes it is, but not when you have a 144hz monitor and a setup that should always stay over 144fps. The game does not feel good at all under your monitor refresh rate. It all started for me after 8th July patch... Game was running very good before never drop below 150 fps.Do you getthe memory leak as well and then it starts lagging. One that happenes it's impossible to play, it might say 40-50 fps but you can tell it isn't even displaying that. When it's lagging many frames are missing it feels more like 15 fps.
I found a solution for now, turn off Crossfire and it's ok. My frames stay on 90-115 on Ultra at 120Hz sometimes reaching my maxvariable limit at 120 fps on one 290x running Mantle, this is on the Dragons Teeth maps too.
The last patch broke crossfire running Mantle, turn one GPU off you you will get great performance. Dice, EA hurry up and fix this and in the process don't break single mantle GPU because if you guys can't getit to here it was before at least we can uwse one card. DX on AMD is performing horribly since the last patch specially on the dragons teeth maps frame drops to 55-60 but luckily no memory leak.
If you guys did your job and replied to my tweets or this post you could have told me to try turning off Crossfire!
Fix this ASAP i can no longer play at 135% resolution and get 120 fps. I plan to get the ASUS swift wich needs about the same perfomance even a bit more, so fix my $750 paper weight!

Catalyst 14.7 is also unplayable with 2 r9 290x running Mantle crossfire.

Yep, my gaming has taken a dive from this last patch too. HD 7970 xfired. I had absolutely no issues with mantle for months.
Now, I have 2 issues introduced in last patch.
First, system ram is filled to top, windows 8.1 warns me of low system memory and says I need to close BF4 (I have pagefile set at 0 so once sys ram full, that is it - windows needs close bf4). This is 16Gb getting filled when before it was stable at about 6.5 Gb while playing for hours. It seems like the system memory goes up at each map change. I can maybe get 3 map changes before the system memory is full.
Second. Vram used to be stable at around 2.8Gb when playing before the patch. Now it seems to creep up and up to overfull ( I assume excess is getting swapped to sys ram for storage till required). I noticed that once it was over the 3072, and at next map change I would have expected it to drop back down to around the 2.8 for the new map, it doesn't. Sort of like something is eating up the vram slowly and not resetting at map changes- just like happens with the system ram.
i5 3570K @ 4GHz,
2 x HD7970 (3Gb vrams),
Windows 8.1 ,
Catalyst 14.7 (14.6 does the same)

Those two issues are connected. It's happening from crossfire, did turning crossfire off fix it? it did for me my FPS would stay at 90-100 never dropping below that although I had to change from 135% resolution back to the regular 100%.
It used to perform the same before and it would stay in 110-120 fps on 135% resolution never dipping below that and giving almost twice the performance. Lucky at least one card isn't broken or else would have to use DX11 it was bad too although I only tried crossfire with DX11.
