Linking Xbox 360 to battlelog

Hi, I've had the game for about 6 days now, and I was wanting to link my account to Battlelog, so I could make a clan tag. So I went on to create my EA/Origin account, and entered the SAME e-mail address as I would use to sign into my Xbox. However when I went into my new Battlelog account, it said I needed to buy Battlefield 4. So any help linking it would be appreciated. Sorry if this question has already been posted.

    Hi 12kif3,

    If you go here, login at the top right:

    Then use the drop down to enter the My Account page:

    It should then show 'Connected Accounts' on this page, so you can check which gamertag is currently linked to your account. 

    If your account isn't shown as linked please see the Help Article here.

    Right, thanks for replying but that didn't work. It said that account was already linked to an origin account. I don't remember doing this though...

    Thanks for trying that. 

    For assistance with this issue I'd advise contacting a Game Advisor, they'll be able to look into your account.  

    You can contact support by following the steps below:

    • Click on the following link: https://help.ea.com/contact-us
    • Make sure you are logged in (top right corner)
    • Click on the blue button "Contact a Game Advisor"
    • Enter the name of your game or product (or "Origin" for account-related issues) and click "Find Solutions"
    • Select the type of issue and the platform you play on, and click on "Find Solutions".
    • Click on the blue button "I still need help" if the FAQ articles do not apply to your situation.
    • Select a contact option. Note that you may get different contact options depending on your country.

    that link is no help as it says what should happen and not what to click etc to link, no help

    @FAQCURESELF As you can see this thread was created in 2013 and of course some information was changed. If you want to link your Xbox Gamertag or PSN ID to your EA Account, please read this article for information: https://help.ea.com/en-in/help/account/linking-your-origin-account-with-your-psn-id-and-gamertag/
