Logitech Dual Action controller not working in BF4, Dead horse?

So Ive been playin BF for several years now and have always enjoyed flying choppers with my trusty logitech dual
action. Big deal right. After a few weeks of holiday madness I planned on blowin some pixels apart but my chopper
wont get off the ground. OK i think maybe my settings are buggy and try to reset them. Nothing. Unplug, and try a
different usb 3.0. Still nothing. Restart BF4 and try again, Nothing. Exit origin and restart BF4. Nothing.

Now Im gettin a little aggitated.

I dig out a shiney new logitech F310, install the Software (bland), Double check my Nvidia drivers (UTD as usual) Set up
a profile in the crappy Logitech front end and launch BF4 from there just KNOWING it would be fine. And I get nothing. I
switch it from Xinput to Dinput to make it act like my old dual action and nothing. Finally I decide the install must be broken and instead of the repair option i go for the full reinstall experience. Yay me. Of course it will work now, It has to right? Nothing...:catmad:

The only major change Ive done in months was to add a 3rd display and have no idea why even my old contoller that
works in every other game is no longer recognized by BF4. As previously stated, Its a crappy old Logitech dual action
Dinput device so nothing fancy. No oddball macro software or xbox controller emulators aimed at BF4.

If it never worked Id chalk it up to "it just wont work" and move on but it has worked for quite some time, whats changed?
