Logitech G700s buttons will not map?

I can't seem to map any buttons on my mouse aside from left click, right click, and mouse wheel click.
The four thumb buttons will not register at all...?
I even tried to map them to keyboard shortcuts using Logitech's mouse software.
No dice.
So, dice.
Any fixes? 
And yes, I was clicking in the "Mouse" column while trying to set the functions
