Before you installed your new graphics card did you do a complete clean uninstall of all your graphics drivers with Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) or similar? http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html otherwise it might be a graphics driver issue and I would advise you do it. Basicly you: remove all your graphics drivers reboot into safe mode use DDU to remove remaining driver components reboot into safe mode again use DDU again reboot normally install the newest driver from Nvidia.com

Thanks, I'll try that out later this evening, just played paracel which isnt very that hard on gpu's with about 120 fps. I'll see once we play firestorm and the tanks start burning 🙂

i'll see what happens and how it continues, as long as I dont get fps drops to 30-35 fps I'll just accept it.With all other steps basically nothing changed whatsoever, but still much love for the help and reply's guys!

It is probable your machine is not using your new graphics card. You should get the expected performance by setting up a GPU profile as follows, this will tell your PC to use your new card when playing BF4.

Didnt work, even with medium settings and medium resolution and htz settings im getting exactly the same result as I do with settings on max... Any other idea's?

Thanks for the reply and possible solution but to no avail... I tried exactly what you suggested and still about 100 fps on whiteout, not fancy is it -_-
Could it be virus related? I cleaned some random stuff (adware) a couple of weeks ago..

a friend also suggested overclocking my motherboard, but i'm completely new in overclocking and I dont wanna bbq it 😛 Do you guys think its useful to try it?

I wouldn't recommend overclocking as you might break your system (especially if new to it) or at least makes things worse.

What you can try is to start your system in a clean boot (don't turn off punkbuster). While in clean boot, please go to your Documents\Battlefield 4\settings folder and delete all the PROFSAVE files. Now try your game again.

You might also want to add a dxdiag so I can have a more detailed look at your hardware and drivers.

still 120 fps on medium maps.
Btw another problem (might be related?) is that my settings on my new 2nd and bigger screen always reset after restart.
No idea if its related?
