Mantle still supportet? /Mantle Crashes

Heyya! Before i search for Problems on my end i wanted to ask if Mantle is still supportet? I usually get a better Framerate with Mantle vs DX11. 

Every time i start a Game with Mantle enabled (Vega 56 and 2600) i get this msg:

 

If i switch from dx11 to mantle ingame it works just fine, does the game need a restart to run with mantle?

    @TerrorReloaded the Mantle API was abandoned by AMD in favor of its newer Vulcan API so it's not being actively supported by AMD.

    So I try to launch Battlefield 4, but there appears this error message that says "Directx Mantle - Mantle function "grGetExtensionSupport(m_gpus[gpuIndex], "GR_WSI_WINDOWS")" failed with GR_ERROR_INVALID_HANDLE. GPU: "" (0), Driver: 0".

    So I entered the "PROFSAVE_profile" under C:\Users\Username\Documents\Battlefield 4\settings, used wordpad to change "GstRender.MantleEnabled 1" to 0, and then it worked. But on the game when I changed Directx to Mantle, exit then tried to launch it again, the same error reappears. My GPU is AMD (R7 260x), so why the mantle is not working for me?
