massive mouse input delay/mouse stutter

Hello! I have just now purchased BattleField 1 in the Origin Store.
The game installed fine and I could boot it perfectly, but my mouse has massive input lag or stutter(and strange mouse acceleration), with the former having raw mouse input turned on, and the latter having raw mouse input turned off. I do not know how to fix this, does anyone here have any suggestions? Closing Discord helps a bit but it's still pretty much unplayable. Here is a list of things I tried from Google:

-enabling and disabling DirectX 12
-repairing the game in the Origin launcher
-changing a bunch of settings off and on in-game(such as V-sync)
-turning off Origin overlay

Any help would be appreciated! Note: I did not try reinstalling the game yet, as it took me 36 hours to install the game last time. My mouse works fine in other games(such as Apex Legends), so I doubt it's anything to do with the drivers or any external stuff.

  • Hey, @kirbbo  can you try to do a clean boot to see if any programs are messing with Battlefield 1 and turn off any overlay programs, such as Discord or Nvidia experience.

Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?

Let me know if this works or not for you. 🙂

  • I like to turn Origin's in-game overlay off. Right click BF1 in the Origin games library and uncheck the in-game overlay box. You can test it's working by pushing Shift+F1, and the Origin overlay shouldn't come up anymore.
