Doing it right now, just finished my first scan I really need to invest in an SSD haha
Yes they are very nice more so on Win8.1 :womanvery-happy: Do all the steps 2x with reboots after each one as I have seen it pass first time but fail 2nd time. This alone may not fix the issue in BF4 but it will be the first step towards a fix.

This could take some time are you up for some work ? To repair mfplat.dll related issues in the registry. A free registry cleaner program may be able to help by removing invalid mfplat.dll registry issues that might be causing the DLL error. So lets try this next.
I need you to do download CC cleaner the free version and install CC cleaner on your PC.

Open CC cleaner go to registry scan for issues pick fix all selected issues you may have a ton of issues if you never have used this before its normal. It will give you the choice to do a back up. Once done then reboot your PC and do all the registry steps again until it finds none. Reboot your PC after you do each scan on registry. Once it finds none then try repair game again .
