Did you try checking your settings in Origin, and making sure that your microphone is set as the default output device?
Also, check your Taskbar on your Desktop, and make sure your Mic is selected when you right click the speaker icon.

I have same problem.. I cant use voip I can hear everyone.. I tried reinstalling.. checked it was default on settings, reinstalled game... bought secondary mic.. they are usb.. don't know if that matters. it works in windows and in other areas or games just not in this game.
it feels like it doesn't recognize the microphone in game or it doesn't recognize me pressing the voip button.. ti tried rebinding and having a alternate button but the mic doesn't even light up like im trying to talk...
