Missing Class Ranks
When the game first came out, I played medic a lot. I reached rank 10 (which was at that point the maximum class rank.) I kept playing, and earned an additional 675000 class rank xp which couldn't go...

assuming you just/mostly played medic.. before the ranks were increased...its the same for all of us, there was plenty of time to work on other classes but thinking you are owed credit for continuing with a class before increase hoping a bit... its the same story with this new update.. the increase from 140-150... by rights i should be on or near 150 with the time and points i have
so there's no way at all the data can be backfilled?

Unfortunately you will have to gain new xp to rank up your class as the xp you got after rank 10 previously it wont count.

I know what you're saying but it will be pointless each time they bring a new rank or other out and your previous game play counts! Most players will instantly get it and have nothing to play for. I could say the same about medals as I only need 3 to complete and the requirements on each I have done countless times but I wouldn't expect that to count once I finally get them on my weekly 5. Honestly it doesn't take too long. I am often getting rank achieved on classes repeating rank 50 so I should easily be 150 now but have to start from 140 and the process to 150 is much, much more than the previous ranks up! As tat2jon stated you could have taken time to rank up on the other classes once you reached the max level on medic. Which is what I did when I got 50 on 2 classes I then got it on the others 2 and then the tank etc so gives players a chance to experience the others classes. Honestly it is worth doing as you can learn the benefits on each class and when is best suited to use them.
