Missing Multiplayer Privileges

Missing multiplayer privileges on Xbox one. I can’t access multiplayer please EA. My gamer tag is Arab Hardman [Edit: Title changed to better reflect the issue - ElliotLH]

    @yoohoo23456 Hey mate
    If you don't have an on-line subscription whether it's for XBox or PlayStation or whatever platform, you simply can't go on-line to play the multiplayer part of the game. That's just how it is. So if you want to play multiplayer games, you need to get the XBox Live subscription.

We need an xbox live gold or some sort of subscription? I bought the game a few days ago and all sources I saw said I didn't. I'm confused??
