Kind of the same happened to me. Found out my 22k of war bonds has been reduced to a few 100's..
And I'm quite sure that I've didn't spend them. ☹️

Sorry to hear that you're having an issue with the War Bonds.
Have you tried fully Uninstalling/Reinstalling Battlefield 1 on your designated Platform?
After doing this, please play a couple rounds of Conquest or something, and let the Account sync, and see if your War Bonds are back.
