Try to delete config file of game in: This PC>>Documents>> Battlefield 1>> Settings and delete PROFSAVE_profile file. Then, please reinstall or update driver for your graphics card and reboot your PC.
If you still experience difficulties with this, try the following: Go to Documents>> Battlefield 1>> Settings and please open PROFSAVE_profile file via WorldPad and find this line: GstRender.FullscreenEnabled you need to change a value from 0 to 1 (GstRender.FullscreenEnabled 1) and save.

Hey @IIPrest0nII
I did exactly what you told me to do, but it didn't do anything. The game boots up then turns off my monitor, turns it back on and I just see black and the bf1 cursor. This only happens in Bf1 I don't know what the problem is, if it's my monitor or just some weird bug.

@Goodlifeway What are your PC specs and OS? Do you get any error codes or messages or does the screen just go blank?

OS: Windows 7 ultimate
Processor: Intel Core i5 6500 3.2 GHz 6Mb
Memory: 8gb of ram
Graphics card: Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1060 WF OC 6GB
Card is directx 12 compatible
200 mbps internet connection
400 gb of free space in hardrive
I get no error codes or messages, as I said it just turns off the monitor then turns it back on. After that all I see is the in game cursor and I can also hear the in game music
