I have found a solution to this problem. If your keyboard and mouse does not work with Battlefield 4, please disable Origin Cloud and switch your browser from Google Chrome to Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox. I prefer Internet Explorer.
The root problem is being caused by the default browser being Google Chrome, so please switch it to Internet Explorer. Install flash player etc etc. Then try game again. I hope it works. Please reply to me if it does. Thank you for your time
As for the graphics Card driver updates and other crap, please just ignore it.
It makes no difference what mouse or keyboard you have. Disable Google chrome as your default browser and Use IE. This solved the problem.
This is typical corruption i expect between EA and Microsoft forcing people in to buying **bleep** they dont like or want.. eg.. Windows 8 to run bf4 smoothly.. enough said!
