Mouse lagging

I am having a serious issue with my mouse movement in BF 1. Sometimes, when i am playing my mouse will suddenly become laggy when i try to move it, going from smooth movement to moving 3-5 degrees at a time. While this is happening there is no FPS drop, no lag otherwise, firing, aiming and keyboard commands all work fine. This sometimes lasts 30 seconds, sometimes it will persist throughout an entire day of tries to play the game making it unplayable. This problem has been there in the past but have become MUCH worse after the latest patch, being a problem about 60-70 % of the times i feel like playing BF. This problem does not occur in any other game i own.

I have updated my GPU and mouse software to the newest version, tried reboots, tried closing everything but BF 1 while playing, but nothing works.

Specs:

Intel i5-6600

16gb DDR4 memory

AMD R9 390

Mouse/keyboard: mk330 wireless combo

Hope somebody can help me solve this

  • Hey @TheThing3214

    Thanks for the update.

Have you tried to fully uninstall/reinstall your mouse/keyboard software as well?

Or have you just updated it?

Also, do you have the Origin in-game Overlay turned off in Origin, and the Battlefield 1 game properties in Origin?

    Thanks 🙂

  • Hey @TheThing3214,

Sorry to hear about this issue you're experiencing.

However, have you tried plugging your components in via USB (if applicable), to see if that helps?

Sometimes you might get some input lag while using wireless instead of wired.

Also, can you try using a different mouse if you have one, and see if you have the same issue?

    Thanks 🙂

    Hey @iluminatethesky

The mouse and keyboard is USB connected.

I know that wireless equipment can sometimes have input lag, but the only game/program that is giving me problems with my current setup is BF 1, even newer games like Wolfenstein: The New Colossus and Doom i have no problems in, so it is kinda strange that tis only a problem in BF .

Have no wired mouse, but have tried 2 other USB connected, same problem and only in BF 1
